week 3- Lauren

1.)I took this picture while I was camping on a lake in Indiana this summer. I loved the reflection and the perfect timing of the sunset! I wish the picture was a little more straight, but I still really like this picture!

2.) Jacob Riis is a photographer very similar to Lewis Hine. He documented "The Other Half" which means that he documented how the 'other half' lives. This is similar to Lewis Hine in that he photographed those of lesser societal class. I think this is so interesting to be able to delve into others lives that normally aren't seen as important to others, but need light shed on them.
