This photo is from the Festival of Lights in Myanmar. When I found this picture, my initial thoughts were about how beautiful it was! But, I then quickly realized that although this is a bautiful festival, it probably has meaning behind it that truly affects the hearts and souls of this country. It so funny to me that when we are little we participate in events such as this Festival of Lights and think that it is just fun, when really we have no idea the impact it has. These kids are in a sense "blind" to what they are partaking in.
