Federica Nuzzolese week 15 nature

I took this picture two years ago in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. I like the blending of colors of the trees. This picture makes it seem that nature does have its beauty.  Also the water and the reflection of the trees in the water helps the picture seem more natural.

I took this picture two years ago in North Carolina. I liked the blending of colors with the sun hitting the rocks and trees, while the man is sitting there observing. I like this picture because the man makes it seem that man and nature are linked together.

Federica Nuzzolese week 14 vibrant colors

I took this picture secretly in the cathedral in New York City two years ago. I lightened the picture more, so that it can be seen. I like the colors because it is so vibrant and it makes it seem like an antique.

This picture was taken in Philly two years ago. I love how nature takes its course. The trees fulfill the colors of the picture making it seem like a nice peaceful city. I also like the skyscrapers in the background, which represents that it is a city. As well as the background of the picture making the picture more vibrant.

I took this picture two years ago in Philly, where city hall was. I like this picture because it blends the colors together. The sky in the background makes the building/image look more clear.

I also took this picture in Philly with my digital camera. Me and my friends wanted to remember this day for it was the longest walk ever. I like the colors in the picture because it seems like a hot summer day (which it was) and the fountains are a way to cool off (which we did)

I took this picture with my digital camera in New Jersey. This was taken in the morning where I went under the bridge and captured the shadowy picture.

I took this picture three weeks ago in Rome, at ponte sisto. I tried capturing the effects of light with the background colors being dark, making it a shadowy picture.

I took this picture two years ago in America with my digital camera. I like the colors in the picture, where the green is the dominant color giving it a nature/natural vibe to it.

Here is another picture in America with my digital camera. Again the scenery is beautiful, the colors blend together. There is a reflection of the trees in the water, making the scenery more tropical.

Federica Nuzzolese week 9 (light)

I took this picture in Rome last week with my digital camera. It was when the sun was going down, and I love how the the light of the sun reflects the building giving it a special effect.

I took this picture three years ago at my dad's restaurant, the light outside is coming through the front door giving the picture a halo look, like when going to church.

I like this photo because of the different colors of the sky. The light shows how beautiful such a simple scenery could be. I took this picture two years ago in America.

Nikki Key - Effects of Natural Lighting

While I was in Sicily this past weekend, I had the opportunity to capture various effects of natural lighting from the sun onto various scenes.  I think the lighting can produce beautiful effects in the photographs.

 Right before a vicious thunder storm, the sunlight peeks out behind the ominous clouds rolling in.

 Palermo, Sicily

 The sun reflects the flag and cloud onto the surface of our hotel's pool.

 On the beach

 Silhouettes at sunset.

 Again, right before the storm.

 The bright light from the sun hits the many parts of the flower differently, accentuating each part with various lightings.

Federica Nuzzolese-week 8 reflection

I took this picture from google and I love the contrast of colors and the blue sky in the background. This picture has a natural nature feel to it.

here is a picture of me, and there is a reflection of my sunglasses of the photographer who took this picture.

I added this photograph because I thought it was beautiful, the sky and the clouds in the background give life to the internal city.

Federica Nuzzolese-week 7

I took this picture with my digital camera. This was taken in Napoli two weeks ago. I really like the different colors of the building it was very unique. There were also hills like in this picture that never ended. This picture represents one of those curvy hills, for at the end the red building changes position. I also like how all the cars are straight, which are parallel with the buildings.

I also took this picture in Napoli. I love the color and the trees, which give it a summery vibe. The background is Vesuvius, which is positioned in the middle. I also like the slanted tree giving the picture a more feel to it.

I took this when I was in Miami in 2010. I love how open and spacious the picture represents. The colors contrast with the buildings. I also like how the buildings are in a straight line.

Federica Nuzzolese-week 6

I took this picture last week with my digital camera, it is close to via del corso, here is where political parties go and protest against the prime minister of Italy. I like this picture because it represents power. The long narrow statue in the middle makes it seem that the building behind it has history and strength.

I took this picture in Rome, I like the narrow hallway, which at the end the viewer sees a bright light, to me this picture represents something religious for at the end of the hallway there are also crosses hung.

I took this picture with my digital camera. I like the sky in the background making it seem like a gloomy day. The only thing in this picture that I do not like is the cars that ruin half the picture.

Nikki Key - Reflections

Reflections are often captured, intentionally or not, in photographs, adding a new perspective within a photo that the viewer would otherwise be unable to see.  Water often captures startlingly sharp reflections, like in the picture below.  Sunglasses also add another scene within the photograph.

 Montreux, Switzerland.  The buildings and the two men behind the pool of water are captured in the reflection.

 Santorini, Greece.  My brother's extremely reflective Ray Bans portray a person who is actually behind me, the photographer. 

Rome, Italy.  Taken on my traditional film camera, another part of the Vatican, as well as the sun, is reflected in her aviators.

 This is a photograph that I took on the beach in Southern France.  I think it captures how serene and peaceful the beach really was.  I also like how the little boy is not in the center, still your eye is drawn to him. 

 This is a picture that I took at the aquarium in Monaco.  I love how bright the starfish is against the gray colors of the rocks.

This is another photo taken in Mykonos.  I really like how the windmill look in this one.
